Born in Singapore and raised in Shanghai, China, Christy Guo is currently pursuing a BFA in Jewellery and Metalsmithing at NSCAD University in Halifax, Canada. She has participated in exhibitions including the Canadian Student Silversmith Exhibition, Jewellery Walking Exhibition, and Nocturne Halifax.

Drawing inspiration from traditional Chinese window lattice and geometric forms, Guo explores intimacy, structure, and spatial relationships. Working primarily with metal, often combined with acrylic and enamel, she aims to create contemplative jewellery and table objects that invite viewers to pause and reconsider their relationship to space, light, and form.
